If you have the Basic Ford Sync System then you may be one of those that experienced the chunkiness of it. Ford had taken in over 22,000 consumer complaints, before they decided to remove and replace the Basic Sync System with a redesigned software package. This has resulted in the new, and improved, Ford SYNC 3.
This 3rd version of their infotainment system has shown remarkable improvements over the first and second iterations. Sync 3 is noticeably more responsive with both the touch screen and the voice commands, it has a smartphone display design with larger icons and easy to read text for drivers to navigate the interface easily. And now it has gotten even better! With the latest SYNC 3.4 it’ faster and gives you an Actual HD touch Display.
This factory upgrade comes with the latest SYNC 3.4 software. Which includes options like; AppLink, FordPass, Factory Nav with turn-by-turn directions, SYNC Connect, Voice Commands and Apple CarPlay + Android Auto. As well as these apps; Waze, Google Maps, Itunes, Spotify, Pandora, and more!
